Twelve beaches and coasts in Clare have retained their Blue Flag and Green Coast status for the upcoming tourist season.
The beaches at Ballycuggaran, Cappa Pier, Whitestrand Miltown Malbay, Whitestrand Doonbeg, Fanore, Kilkee, Lahinch, Spanish Point and at Mountshannon will all fly the Blue Flag this summer once again.
In addition, three coastlines – Ballyalla Lake, Bishops Quarter and Seafield – have managed to hold on to their Green Coast statuses.
