The Garda Commissioner will face mid-ranking Gardai this afternoon for the first time since the latest scandals hit the force.
Noirín O’Sullivan is addressing the annual conference of the AGSI later, where she’ll be asked about her comments at the Oireachtas Justice Committee, when she said the inflated breath test figures were ‘at best incompetence, and at worst deception’.
Detective Sergeant Brian Howard of Ennis Garda Station told Clare FM’s Morning Focus has outlined that she can expect a response to those remarks later today.
