Coastal Communities On Alert In Light Of Flood Risk

Clare County Council is urging property and land owners in flood-prone coastal locations to remain vigilant in light of an increased risk of flooding.

Three weather warnings are in place for the county – Met Eireann has issued an orange wind alert with gusts of up to 120 kilometres per hour forecast, while yellow alerts are in place for ice and snow and flooding.

An orange gale warning is also in place for the coast, where there’s also high seas.
