Coach Industry Not Represented On Tourism Taskforce

The private coach and bus industry is seeking a seat at the table of the government’s tourism taskforce.

Coach and bus operators say that even though their sector employs 11,500 people throughout Ireland, the group has been excluded from a taskforce to look at issues facing the tourism sector.

The government-appointed body has been tasked with helping the tourism sector bounce back from COVID-19, and Brian Farrell of Burren Coaches says they want their voices heard too.
