The clean up continues today following spot flooding in parts of the county yesterday.
A number of roads were closed yesterday following heavy rain on Saturday night, with East Clare the worst affected.
Clare County Fire service was dispatched to Kilfenora around 10 o’clock last night, to pull a car out of flood waters there.

Gardaí say most of the flood water has receded following a dry spell overnight, but motorists are advised to proceed with caution as issues may remain on some routes, especially smaller roads.
