Clare’s Water Safety Officer says she was “horrified” by a video of young people jumping from cliffs on Clare’s coast.
Six youths jumped the 80 foot drop from the cliffs in Kilkee, narrowly missing the rocks below, before splashing into the sea.
Clare County Council issued a warning yesterday, after the footage appeared online, and appealed to parents to talk to their children about the dangers of jumping into the sea from cliffs edges and rock.
