Clare’s INTO Representative says potential industrial action by teachers won’t stop schools from re-opening fully next week.

Teachers unions are joining forces to demand their members are prioritised for covid-19 vaccines, after the priority list was changed last week to an age based approach, rather than focusing on vaccinating certain professions first.

The TUI, INTO and ASTI each began their two day annual conferences this morning and tomorrow a joint emergency motion will be tabled at each event for industrial action.
