Clare’s outdoor amenities are set to receive a funding boost of more than €95,000.
The grants, provided for under the first measure of the Government’s Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme, will benefit six projects across the county.
The Cliffs of Moher, the 12 O Clock Hills, the Shannon Loop, the archaeology trail in Dysart and Burren Trails’ Tick Born Disease Awareness project will all share in the funding intended for the maintenance and upkeep of the sites.
Successful recipients of measures two and three of the scheme will be announced at a later date.
