Clare’s Longest Serving Councillor To Seek Re-Election

Clare’s longest serving Councillor has confirmed he will seek to retain his seat in the local elections this May.

Fianna Fáil Councillor PJ Kelly has been a member of Clare County Council for nearly 45 years.

The Lisseycasey representative admits he said he intended to step down, but his party was unable to secure an alternative candidate in the area.
