Clare’s Councillors Look Set To Leave Property Tax Rate Unchanged

Clare’s councillors look set to leave the property tax in this county unchanged as they prepare to vote on the matter today.

Last year, the tax was increased was by the maximum permitted 15% by a two-to-one majority.

The local authority has already outlined that it expects to incur losses running into the tens of millions of euro as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
