Three of the winners at the Clare Garda Division’s annual Youth Awards are to be recognised at the national version of the event.
Syrian national Razan Abdel Wahed, who’s based in Ennistymon, Orla Platten from Quin were both among the winners at the county event earlier this year, along with the North Clare-based Clare Youth Action group.
All three have been selected to be honoured at the first ever National Garda Youth Awards, with Clare garnering more nominations than any other county.
