East Clare Fianna Fáil TD Timmy Dooley says there’s a sense of concern locally and they’re hoping for a positive outcome.
Family members are travelling to France and the Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance.
Anyone with contacts in the south of France are being urged to share details of missing Eimear with them, in the hope of aiding efforts to locate her.
