Clare Trade Union Rep Says Sick Pay Reform Needed Immediately

A Clare trade union representative says sick pay reform needs to be introduced immediately.

It comes as the government has proposed deferring a Labour bill that would give all workers statutory sick pay for six months.

It’s understood government want to consider the potential impact on both businesses and workers before introducing any legislation on the issue.
