Clare’s Independent TD says he’s hopeful that a future use can still be found for the Roche site in Clarecastle.
Deputy Michael Harty’s comments follow the revelation by government that the IDA is still engaging with Roche’s parent company, with the most recent meeting with them coming in September.
Former Jobs Minister and Tanaiste Frances Fitzgerald has also said she’s hopeful a new investor will be found, and Deputy Harty shares this view:
