Clare Students To Strike For Climate Action

School students in Clare will be among thousands around the country today who are downing their pens and striking for climate action.

Students in over 700 locations across 71 countries will take part in today’s action, demanding that more be done to tackle the growing problem of global warming.

The 2019 Climate Change Performance Index, released in December, singled out Ireland as the worst performing country in Europe in tackling climate change for the second year in a row.
