Clare Rights Activist Welcomes ‘Overdue’ Decision To Allow Disabled Representation On Transport Boards

A Clare rights activist is hailing the decision to have disabled representation on public transport boards as long overdue.

Transport Minister Shane Ross is today announcing the changes, which will ensure those with disabilities sit on boards and have a say in future developments of Ireland’s transport network.

He also says the development in such amenities for those living with disabilities will be closely monitored.
