Clare Retailers Warn Second Lockdown Could Have More Severe Consequences Than The First

Clare’s retailers are warning the second lockdown could have more consequences for the future of the local economy than the first back in March.

New CSO figures show overall retail sales volumes increased by 9.7% in September compared to the same time last year.

However, bar sales, fuel, books, newspapers and furniture purchases have all fallen significantly.
