Clare Residents Urged To Oppose Waste Burning Licence For Irish Cement

Residents of South- East Clare are being urged to come out in opposition to the planned burning of waste at a Limerick cement plant.

Permission has been granted for Irish Cement to burn a number of materials at their Mungret plant, close to the Clare border, which has led to serious concern about the environmental impact.

A march is taking place at City Hall in Limerick this Sunday against the move.
