Clare Rents Rising At “Unhealthy” Rate

A leading economist insists that the cost of renting a home in Clare is rising at an unhealthy rate.

The latest data from DAFT.ie show the average monthly rent in Clare has risen by almost 8% in the third quarter of the year to €784.

Nationally, there’s been an 11 percent increase this year alone and a 30% hike on the Celtic Tiger era.
