Clare has been selected as one of eight counties to receive funding to allow for supports for members of the LGBTI+ community.
The Dormant Accounts Action Plan 2020 provides funding to address disadvantage across the country which includes the provision of 200,000 euro to support community organisations who advocate for people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex
The 35,000 euro will go to 10 different organisations across the county.
