Clare People Say Cheers For Cahercalla Hospice

Thousands throughout Clare are saying cheers for Cahercalla Hospice today.

Almost 300 events are being held throughout Clare on Ireland's largest coffee morning, with money here going towards the county hospice.

Cahercalla requires around 350,000 euro a year in donations to allow it continue to provide care its five palliative care beds.

Speaking on a special edition of Morning Focus, which broadcast from Cahercalla, Ennis native Lourda McKeown spoke warmly of the care that she, her family and her mother Jane received when she passed away at Cahercalla last year.
