Clare is one of just four counties across the country to record an increase in .ie domains across 2020.
A new report into the registration of .ie websites shows that 1,381 new sites were registered in this county last year, an increase of 70% on the 2019 figure.
This has been partly attributed to the move to online for local businesses that had to close their physical shops due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
