Clare Marts To Auction Off Livestock In Aid Of Two Charities

Clare farmers are being asked to bid generously at two charity auctions being held at Clare Mart next week.

On Tuesday next, six suckler weanlings will go up for auction at the mart in Ennis in aid of the charity Bóthar, which donates animals to poverty-stricken countries.

Then on Thursday, a heifer donated by the Conroy family in Whitegate will be auctioned off to raise funds for the Galway Hospice, in memory of Josephine Conroy.
