A West Clareman has died after being hit by a lorry in Carlow.
Kilkee native Robert Burns was critically injured when he was involved in the incident near the Strawhall Industrial Estate in Carlow town on Sunday afternoon.
He was treated at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, and St. Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny where he lost his fight for life this morning.
