Clare Lifeguards Save Over 90 Lives On Banner Beaches

An average of 14 accidents per hour were prevented at Clare’s beaches over the summer period.

92 rescues were carried out by lifeguards at Clare’s beaches over the summer period.

Figures released by Clare County Council show that 92 rescues were carried out by Clare’s lifeguards, with almost 11,000 potential accidents prevented at the county’s 11 life-guarded beaches between June and August.
