Clare’s Independent TD has expressed doubt as to whether the government will implement a new long-term plan for Ireland’s health service.
Dr. Michael Harty was among the TDs and Senators who worked on the Slaintecare plan that received cross-party backing when published in May.
However, he’s now not convinced that the government is truly behind it and is highlighting an EU measure that could allow people seek treatment abroad:
