Clare’s IFA Chair says farmers are being hit with higher taxes despite having no alternative.

Tom Lane was reacting to the government’s decision to increase carbon tax by €7.50 per tonne next year, and again every year until 2029.

The Parteen farmer says farmers have no choice but to use agri-diesel in their work.
