There has been a broad welcome for the announcement of 1.6 million euro towards local authority housing in Clare.
Eight new homes will be built in the Roslevan area under the Government’s Rebuilding Ireland Action Plan For housing and the homeless.
This latest funding follows on from the provision of 3.6 million earlier this year for a links road, which will make way for the construction of 200 new homes at Claureen.
