Clare residents are being warned to be on the look out for bogus tradesmen.
It’s after two men called to a house in the BOyne Park Estate of Shannon last Friday at around 3 o’clock in the afternoon and told the owner that he had a hole in his roof that they could fix for a price.
The owner, who grew suspicious and believed the men had caused the damage themselves, contacted Gardaí in Shannon who subsequently made an arrest.
