Gardaí have recovered a rifle while conducting a COVID-19 in Kilmihil today.
While on patrol, the officers observed a teenager in possession of the firearm, and subsequently determined that he did not hold a license.
In a follow-up operation, Gardaí searched a premises under warrant in the Kilmihil area and seized an air rifle with scope and an imitation 9mm handgun, as well as a small quantity of cannabis herb (pending analysis) and some electronic devices.
