Clare Had Fourth-Highest Level Of Air Ambulance Callouts In 2018

The Irish Air Corps carried out 25 air ambulance missions in Co. Clare last year.

The service, which is based out of the Custume Barracks in Athlone, was utilised 310 times last year and figures show how many of the callouts were to the West of Ireland.

Mayo, with 49, had the highest number of callouts, followed by Galway, Roscommon and Clare.
