Clare FF Hopeful Fears Party Strategy Will Impact His Chances Of A Dáil Seat

A Clare Fianna Fáil election hopeful fears the party’s strategy may impact negatively on his chances of securing a dáil seat.

A row has broken out over the selection of candidates for the next general election, after delegates were told they would be selecting one west clare candidate and one east clare candidate at convention on Thursday.

This resulted in South East Clare candidate Cathal Crowe withdrawing from the race, who would have been pitted against sitting TD Timmy Dooley.
