Clare Farmers Join Beef Trade Deal Protest

Farmers from across Clare are among those picketing in Dublin this afternoon against the EU’s South American beef trade deal.

The IFA is furious about the Mercosur deal – which it says may price Irish farmers out of the market.

It would see 70,000 tonnes of South American beef come on stream at reduced prices.
