Clare Farmers Called On To Sign Petition Calling For New REPS Scheme

Clare farmers are being urged to sign a petition, calling for a new Rural Environment Protection Scheme to be established.

The Irish Family Farm Rights Group is hosting a public meeting at the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point on Monday night.

The group is also calling for an immediate €300 suckler payment scheme to be rolled out to assist farmers until a new REPS scheme comes into place.
