Clare To Escape Worst Of Winter Shower

Clare is expected to escape the worst of the wintry showers over the coming days but snow remains a possibility here.

Met Eireann has issued two weather warnings for the county today – a yellow wind warning is in place until 8 o’clock tonight as Storm Caroline batters the country.

While from 4 o’clock this afternoon, temperatures will plummet as the cold snap sets in, with subzero temperatures expected overnight tonight, with wintry showers and icy patches expected.
