Clare County Council has confirmed this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Ennis will not go ahead.
The local authority says the Ennis Municipal District is organising a virtual event for the people of Clare to celebrate the day instead.
Preparations for the online ceremony are underway and further details will be announced shortly by the Council.

The last St. Patrick’s Day Parades in Clare were held in 2019, as last year’s event were one of the first casualties of the pandemic.
