A motion to formally declare a climate emergency in Clare has been postponed.

Climate change discussions have dominated proceedings in the first full meeting of the new term of Clare County Council.

Four motions, put down by six councillors, tackled the issue, on the same day the government released its ambitious Climate Action Plan.
