Clare’s Newest Councillor Takes Up His Seat This Afternoon

Clare’s newest Councillor will take up his seat this afternoon.

Pat O’Gorman, from Cratloe, is to be officially co-opted onto Clare County Council as the newest local representative in the county today.

The former Mayor of Clare was elected at a selection convention last night to replace Meelick’s Cathal Crowe, who was elevated to the Dáil at this month’s general election.
