Clare County Council is reassuring that it has sufficient supplies of salt to treat county roads throughout the winter.
It comes as the government’s launched a number of tips for people for the coming months, which it says will be extra tough because of Covid-19.
The local authority say it has almost 2000 tonnes of salt to disperse throughout Clare if needed.
