Clare Councillors Call For Return Of Joe Brolly To RTÉ Panel

A group of Clare Councillors are calling for RTE to re-instate Joe Brolly to its coverage of Gaelic Football.

Independent Councillors Gerry Flynn, Ann Norton and P.J. Ryan have submitted a motion for next week’s meeting of the local authority which will debate the matter.

The motion calls on the Minister for Communications or Finance to to request that the State broadcaster reinstates the controversial pundit ‘A.S.A.P’ as his removal from the panel has ‘taken away from the enjoyment of the game for many people.’
