Almost €3million Allocated To Clare For Road Works

Almost €3 million has been allocated to Clare County Council for road works in 2020.

The funding has been issued through Transport Infrastructure Ireland to all local authorities in the county, with €2.3 million of the funding here set aside from improvement works and €600,000 for maintenance.

The level of funding in Clare is €1 million less than in 2019 but still a million ahead of 2018; while in terms of neighbouring counties, Limerick has been allocated €15.7 million with €6.2 million for Tipperary.
