Clare County Council Urges People To Cut Down On Waste Over Christmas

Clare County Council is urging people across Clare to cut down on food waste over the Christmas period.

Typically over Christmas week, 42 million euro worth of food is thrown out across the country.

Clare’s Environmental Awareness Officer Karen Foley says freezing leftover food can cut down drastically on these levels of waste.
