Clare County Council Spent Almost €33,000 Translating The County Development Plan

It’s been revealed that Clare County Council spent almost €33,000 translating the County Development Plan into Irish.

The 267,000 word document was published last year and sets out how the county will develop until 2023.

The total cost was just €32,800 and three translators were commissioned through a tender process because of the timeframe and scale of the document.
