Clare County Council is inviting applications for funding to facilitate works to be carried out on smaller roads and lane ways.
The Local Improvement Scheme provides money for works on non-public roads which often lead to homes and businesses, where they would not normally be covered by the local authorities.
The council received almost €868,000 in national funding under the scheme in 2017 and it’s hoped further funding will be allocated to this county in 2018.
