Clare Chair Of IFOI Expresses CAP Surveillance Concerns

The Clare-based Chair of the Independent Farmers of Ireland has expressed concerns about the proposed surveillance of Irish farms.

The measure has been proposed as part of conditions attaching to the next round of Common Agricultural Policy funding.

Seamus Shannon is the National Chair of the Independent Farmers of Ireland and a Kilmurry-McMahon farmer.
