Clare businesses on latest Tax Defaulters List

An O’Briensbridge Sand and Gravel Company was ordered to make the largest tax settlement in Clare in the second quarter of the year.

According to the latest list of Tax Defaulters, Jim Bolton Sand and Gravel Limited of Fahey, O’Briensbridge paid 67, 263  euro in undeclared tax and penalties to the Revenue Commissioners.

While Company Director and Farmer, James Bolton of Fahymore, O’Briensbridge paid 144, 326 euro in undeclared income tax, interest and penalties following an audit by Revenue.

The revenue commissioners issued a number of smaller fines in Clare for failing to lodge their income tax returns and the misuse of marked mineral oil while a Shannon retailer and an Ennis pub were fined for failing to hold a current liquor licence.
