Clare ASTI Rep Issues Warning To School Boards Of Management

Clare’s ASTI representative is warning boards of management that they have three months to get their schools in order.

It comes as the union has been warned by the Department of Education that two-and-a-half-thousand could be knocked off their average salaries by September, if they won’t cover for teachers who’re ill or busy with extracurricular activities.

It’s currently the only union in the public sector which isn’t covered by the Lansdowne Road Agreement.
