Businesses in Clare are being warned not to provide waste material to anyone without a waste collection permit this Halloween.
The County Council is concerned that people will be stockpiling rubbish to use in illegal bonfires tomorrow night.
Last year alone cost €25,000 to the fire service in callouts – many of which were started with household waste.
