North Clare councillors have expressed concern that elderly locals are finding it difficult to tax their cars under a new Council system.
An online renewals service has been delivered from the local authority’s Ennistymon tax office since the beginning of the pandemic, but local Councillors want over-the-counter services to fully return.
The Council says it is not considering the move, however, arguing that the number of people taxing their cars online in Clare has increased since the beginning of the pandemic.
