Claims Ennis Pound Needs To Double In Size

An Ennis councillor insists the county town’s dog pound needs to at least double in size.

Work has been carried out on the Gort Road facility in recent months to bring it in line with current standards, with further minor works planned before the end of the year.

But there are now calls for it to be extended and for a large outdoor area for the dogs there to be put in place.
